Gorgeous kitchen with great light in Montclair California. The client had selected straited 12″ x 24″ Italian tile with a diagonal entryway around an island. Roughly 200 square feet. We did not demo the linoleum floor, which was installed over backer. It was water-tight and did not flex; therefore a polymer thinset was used at a significant cost savings. It also reduced noise for the floor below.
