Portrero Hill Stair Panel, Lower Balustrade Rail
We do patches from dry rot and sun damage frequently. A decision was made on this north-facing panel, to use concrete board, and Durham’s. One porch pillar had to be replaced. It just needs sanding and paint by the client’s painter.

Older homes settle, which means uneven walls and non-planed floors, and out-of-square corners. This is tricky for tile. This client wanted a tile baseboard. I ended up free-handing the toilet drain opening cut with a black widow blade on the angle grinder. I used a polymer-modified mortar, which was sufficient for the baseboard. Because these …

Very pleased with the broken marble materials the client chose. This took 2 days. The structures over the spans can get tricky. We’re awaiting the mantle.
