This project was for backer and the installation of materials selected by the client, including a floating vanity. A decision was made not to demo the floor, but rather use acrylic thinset for the herringbone pattern.
This job took longer than expected. The client chose a border tile that was a different thickness than the standard tile, and there were several changes that were implemented after the project was scoped and underway. These included a shelf, shelf edging, and even mortar.
Pretty conventional. Used Liquid Nails ‘Fuze It’ as adhesive. Snips for mosaic tile. It went quickly.
