Client was on a budget, but we helped him out.
We do patches from dry rot and sun damage frequently. A decision was made on this north-facing panel, to use concrete board, and Durham’s. One porch pillar had to be replaced. It just needs sanding and paint by the client’s painter.
Straightforward.
Used an oil rather than a stain and sealant. Power-washed, spot-sanded, recessed screws, puttied some cracks, applied stain.
Demolished two layers of linoleum and one layer of particle board. Installed backer and square tiles in a grid pattern. Older client wanted an older look.
